Website re-design: Top Flight Stairlifts

A few months back I received a call from the owner of Top Flight Stairlifts, a small but experienced stairlift supplier and installation company based in Cheshire. They were having trouble with their existing website. Despite the website doing well in the Google rankings it just wasn’t converting the hits into sales calls.

I approached the situation by thinking what I would do if I was given a brief and asked to come up with the website from scratch. I sketched out a few designs and structures and quickly found that what I would do was very different from the existing website. As a result I proposed that we do just that – wipe the slate clean and start from the ground up.

Lash Fairy website launched.

Last week I launched a one-page website to promote the services of a mobile beauty therapist specialising in eyelash extensions. The business is it’s infancy and so a single page website, or “business card” website as they are often referred to, is a great way to get a new business on the web for an extremely affordable price. A single page is also a great base on which to build. As the business grows so will the amount of information needed on the website, and so the website can grow at the same pace and alongside the business. There is nothing worse than a little information spread (or worse still – repeated) over a number of web pages just to make the company seem bigger.

New Website – Ideal Window Systems

OK, I’ve called it a new website. Really I should have titled this post website redesign. Ideal Window Systems are an established, family run business in my local area. They approached me regarding a redesign of their existing website as they felt it needed to be “lifted” and brought up-to-date.

After discussing their needs I was able to formulate and action plan that would provide a website that will look great, show off their work and the brands they represent, and enable people to easily get in contact with the company.
